The New Year Pitches A Hissyfit and American Idol Makes All Right With World. Plus, More Layouts. :)

So, the new year is barely officially underway, and it has already had a hissyfit.

We got a scare last week when Mama was admitted to the hospital (a week ago today) for problems with her heart racing too fast. She ended up staying all week (she went home Saturday) and had to have a cardiac ablation, which is a procedure to help slow the heart rate. It was successful: her heart rate went from being in the 120s-130s to in the 70s and 80s literally immediately. We were so glad everything went so well!

In other news, American Idol is back and I feel whole again. I love that show probably more than a person should. Can I just say? Bikini Girl? Awful. Both in attitude and vocal abilities. I hope she doesn't make it past Hollywood week. Although there just has to be a person for me to hate each season. It's some kind of sick rule, I guess. Carmen Rasmusen and Kristy Lee Cook, I'm particularly looking at you. Bah. Anyway, I love AI so much that just yesterday, I happily got sucked into a movie on Lifetime because it was Life Is Not A Fairy Tale: The Fantasia Barrino Story. It's a sickness for which I want no cure.

Oh yeah, and of course I have new layouts to share. :-) These are all from Thanksgiving, and I still have a few more photos from then to scrap.

This last layout is just of Lake Wildwood, where we live. We love to go down to the lake and visit the ducks. They are so friendy and cute!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi Ami,
I love your layouts. I am not into AI as much as my children are. Eric called me Monday from TX to see if it was on. I had to flip to the channel to see if it was on.Pitiful aren't I?

Sorry to here about your Mom and I hope she is doing much better now.

Have a great week!
Hugs,
Lynn
