I've gotten some more projects/layouts done!
All of these projects are for my Eiffel Tower Group's January challenges.
This first project is a mini-album I created to detail my Christmas experiences. This is just the front cover. Oh, and I made it out of plain old brown cardboard. I know it's probably not acid-free. Bad scrapbooker. :D
This next layout will be the first layout in my 2009 Book of Me. We had to do a LO about Time and what it means in our lives. I chose to use several different pictures of myself from various points in my life up to this point. I thought the lyrics from Joni Mitchell's "Circle Game" perfectly describe my feelings on time.
I used the chorus as my journaling/title. It reads:
"and the seasons, they go round and round
and the painted ponies go up and down
we're captive on this carousel of time
we can't return, we can only look
behind from where we came
and go round and round and round
in the circle game"
The next layout was for our Technique Challenge--to use lots of patterned paper (cut shapes and embellishments from it) and the ONLY other embellishments had to be metal. I used a bunch of metal brads, some staples, a paper clip, and a metal ukulele string Brian gave me. This LO documents how Brian plays uke for me as I cook supper. :) I love my supper serenades.
That's all for now! Hope everyone is having a great week!
