I've been super-busy getting projects done for the NEXT issue of Scrap n' Art (September/October), which is when I'll make my Design Team Debut. But I do have three layouts coming up in the July/August issue! :D
I am sharing some layouts I did for the Scrap n' Art Blog below.
The first one is of Ginger, and this layout was for the "Negative Space Becomes Positive" Challenge. I used a butterfly die-cut paper as both a stencil (to make the white butterflies with acrylic paint), and as an element on the page, just as I would have used patterned paper. This was fun to do! (A fun fact: I included that strip of numbers from some October Afternoon Cherry Hill paper because it has both a 67 and a 77, which are our birth years. Just a little sisterly connection thing I wanted to put on there.)
This next one was for the Scrap n' Art Blog's "Monochromatic Masterpieces" Challenge. It was challenging, yet fun, to do a layout with shades of just ONE color! I used pictures of my parents' beautiful backyard garden.
Have a great week!
