I'll Only Welcome Spring...
...because my Mama made me such a beautiful wreath. :D Which I have hung INDOORS and will enjoy INDOORS. I hate most things Spring (the pollen, the storms that are sometimes severe, the warming temperatures, ugh), but this makes me happy.

Weekend Update
We had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday, we went to the monthly LWW Scrappers Meeting, where I did a few demos on how to make cards. We had such a fun time! Here are some cards I got done to show at the meeting, and one I got done at the actual meeting.
(Click any of the pics to view larger.)
And here we all are, hard at work, making cards!
While we were inside making cards, Brian was outside taking pics of the gorgeous cherry trees at the church. Here are a few of my favorite shots he got, post-processing done by me in Apple Aperture. I am so loving that program!
It was a pretty fun weekend. Sunday we just hung out at home and got some rest, which is always my favorite kind of day. :D Looking forward to seeing family next weekend for Easter, and taking lots of pictures!!

Blog Hop Starts NOW!!
It's time for a blog train and this one is awesome! The design teams of Scrap n' Art and Get Sketchy have teamed up together, along with SRM Stickers to provide you with inspiration and prizes!
Here is what you need to do! Visit each blog in this list. Each blogger will have a "special word" noted in their post (mine is at the bottom of this post!). If you visit every blog, the words will create a sentence. After you have the full sentence, your last stop will be at the Scrap n' Art Blog. You will find an email address in that final post. Email the full sentence and you will be entered to win a subscription and a prize pack from Scrap n' Art! There will be TWO winners for those prizes!
Also, anyone who leaves comments on the blog posts at SRM Stickers and at Get Sketchy will be entered to win prizes from those sites as well! So, what are you waiting for? If you started here, you need to head back to the beginning of the train so you don't miss a single stop!
Here's the order of the blog train and we hope you have fun!

Scrappy Saturday
Despite having The Cold That Would Not Die But Instead Morphs Into Some Kind Of Evil Bronchitis-Demon-Thing, I still managed to have a pretty fun weekend. On Saturday, we ventured out to the Create-n-Crop Event in Perry. Brian and I went, along with Kristi, her husband, Chris, and Linda.
They called it a "Paper Crafting Extravaganza," but once we got inside and walked around a bit, we discovered it was more of just a "Ganza" without the "Extra" part. We were underwhelmed, to say the least. It was very small, and took us under an hour to walk the whole thing, including stopping and looking and buying and taking our time. But we still had fun! I got a new Glimmer Mist, some Stickles and some ink! So it was worth the drive. But I am still looking forward to the bigger expo this summer in Duluth.
Here are some pics from the day.
The famous Clock Tower at the Agri-Center and Fairgrounds in Perry, GA:
Oh, the Stickles of it all:
Here, we watched as a lady in a booth (where I bought all my goodies!) showed us a really cool technique--she heat-embossed a stamped image onto some metallic fibers. The image could then be cut out and used on a scrapbook page or card. It was pretty neat!
Prima and their never-ending genius and cuteness. These are paper-pieced embellishments and I really want that cat!
Cardstock is pretty.
Eric Erickson's booth had a really cool arrangement of scissors and flowers.
Linda, me and Kristi, grinnin' and shoppin'. :D
Copic markers in all their glory. So pretty!
As you can see, I'm a bit mesmerized by them and their glitter pen friends. :D
Afterward, Linda had to go, but Brian and I went with Kristi and Chris to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was fun! A great day spent with great new friends!
